I dont care for how they made most of the background the same color and doesnt look like grass like the other one. Anyways they only gave me half the container and I could tell before starting that it definitely wasnt going to be enough. This was the best gift for someone. The canvas comes framed which is hard to find.. I started with small spaces and worked towards larger ones and eventually it came together amazing!! The brushes provided were hard to do the smaller spaces but I had others that I used. Having a printout of the numbers along with a picture of the painting expected outcome was helpful for spots missed or not numbered (that happens on others I’ve done from different companies as well) but was able to trace what number it was with all of the materials provided. I had originally provided a picture that was filtered and communicated with the MaleniFY who responded promptly and had me send a new option for better outcome and even sent a preview, amazing service! The kit came with plenty of paint. I did use a nicer, smaller paint brush to paint the small bits. The painting seemed a wee bit overwhelming at first when there were oodles and oodles of tiny spots to be painted. I think it helped to focus on one area that I loved, like the dog’s face, in this painting. Then it felt like I was getting something accomplished. My daughter ordered a paint by number kit of her family after she saw our painting. And I plan to purchase another kit for myself of the humans in our family. Loved this!! Ordered over 10 at one time for a work team building and they showed up within 3 days of shipment!! I loved the lined print that they give you so you can reference what the numbers are if you need to go back to a spot if the numbers been painted over already.
Only negatives are that the paint brushes feather and it makes it hard to paint the small details so I’ve had to cut off the bristles that stick out with scissors. And Some of the spots were missing a number (I double checked that I wasn’t missing it, I wasn’t) but I just used the color next to it and it was good!

I am so happy and excited to receive this! First off, it is very well packaged. Secondly, they are generous on the number of colors, and I am very grateful for that, as most other places only supply about maybe 20 ish colors. This company gave me 30+. That means I can trust that they won’t skimp on the colors when there is a more complex picture (as in comparison to a beach with a blue sky….). I also ordered the frame up front, which I think, is a great choice. The frame is nicely made with no blemish.

For some odd reason, the company must’ve mixed up the paints or got the coloring wrong, but her face is meant to be brown not the orange-rustish color. I do also wish that they would supply more color as some paints were not filled to the top. Other than that, the paints were good quality along with the canvas, and I am pleased with how it turned out. I would recommend this, but the color matching needs some work.

I like how this turned out – I made some color adjustments but they were minimal. I wish the background wasn’t so blocky and undetailed, that part was a little disappointing, but otherwise I do love it overall. The brushes were not good at all. I have done several kits and often keep my brushes from other kits, but these frayed on me really quickly. The photo of the brushes was taken half way through the painting. I had to use old brushes I saved from other kits to finish.

I have done literally dozens of paint by numbers and this is one of the best I’ve ever used and will use them for now on. The core were spot on perfect and were very smooth to where even the light colors covered requiring no second coating. The only issue I have found is some of the lines and blocks are so faint or not numbered so it does take a little creativity however, this is best I’ve used.

Tip: start with big areas first. I should have and will on my next one. Fyi This took me about 6-7 hours broken up over different days.

It is easy in a sense but probably took me about 80 + hours. The detail is amazing; the colors are numerous; and the detail is spot on. Mine was extremely detailed with a different number labeling every fraction of a millimeter so it took around 30 hours just to do the smallest size painting available (and I did it in 3 days), but it came out great and I’m very happy with the result, can’t wait to give it to my boyfriend for his birthday. For the price the quality was amazing, I only docked one star because some of the most important parts were missing numbers and I had to improvise for them, and also they assigned some strange colors for his face/my neck and it looked so weird that I redid those parts with colors I chose myself. If you’re looking for something realistic, don’t do it. I purchased this as a Valentine’s gift for my husband and he loved it. BUT mostly because of the thought behind it and that fact that I painted it myself. My opinion, it came out okay but some of that is because I didn’t follow the numbers completely. You can’t see it in the picture but the canvas is unevenly stretched in the upper right and lower left corners. I have no idea what the process is to create these. My guess is it’s all done by computer. It certainly would have benefitted from a human review of the coloring. You can plainly see the color of my dress is purple and my husbands jacket is gray, yet both are mostly black. The color of our faces is off as well.

I’m disappointed at how the colors turn out to be. I was half way through painting a protrait of my dog which is an apricot colored doddle, when I realized that the portrait has inaccurate colors. It made her look like a chocolate colored one.

The ONLY complaint I have is that there were several spots that were so small they didn’t have numbers, so you kinda just had to make an educated guess about what color to use. The colors they had for my husband’s face were also a little odd, so I did doctor that up some on my own. Also the side he’s on, the print was cut short before the end of the painting, which could have been my fault when placing the order. Who knows. The quality of the canvas itself is about that of one you would buy from Walmart. It wasn’t primed, so some spots you have to really lay on the paint. There were also some colors I was afraid I wasn’t going to have enough of but ended up being okay.Overall, I think it turned out really good, though. I will definitely be ordering more, and I’m sad this one is finished because I really enjoyed working on it. I gifted it to my husband, and he really likes it. It’s exciting watching the progress as you paint.
